Ambassador Sophie Katsarava met with Cynthia Ní Mhurchú (MEP)

On 29 May, Ambassador Sophie Katsarava met with the member of the European Parliament for Ireland South Cynthia Ní Mhurchú.

During the meeting, the parties discussed bilateral relations between Georgia and Ireland, as well as prospects for further cooperation.

H.E. Sophio Katsarava spoke about the priorities of Georgia’s foreign policy and Georgia’s process of European integration. The Ambassador placed particular emphasis on the security challenges facing Georgia, including the occupation of its regions by Russia and the complex geopolitical environment.

At the end of the meeting, the sides confirmed their readiness to continue close cooperation.
